There’s a new show on MTV that’s pretty gnarly, called Room 401, a reference to the number of the hospital room in which magician Harry Houdini died. They have unsuspecting victims witnessing illusionists perform frightening acts such as: having live crabs crawl out of their chest, deep frying their hand with hot oil, and seeing spirits come out of dead bodies. Rob Zabrecky, a friend of Eli’s, is one of the stars of the show. For “prank” shows this is definitely one of the best executed ones I’ve seen. You can catch it on Tuesday nights.
