59/Fifty: the field trip
|
Today, Jenni and Dave and I went down to Irvine to meet up with the New Era guys. 40 miles in 1 1/2 hours…you do the math. ![]() reds all the way down the 5… ![]() At some point, Dave fell asleep while driving. That was exciting. ![]() I was on Ipod duty, which meant we listened to ‘Care of Cell 44′ by the Zombies over and over until at least Brea. ![]() We met up in the Buffallo showroom to work out the details. Buffalo as in Buffalo, New York…where Ehrhardt Koch founded the company in the 1920’s (know your history!!!) ![]() By the way, our New Era caps will be dropping in the Spring. ![]() Game faces On the way home, we took a late lunch tour at Clearman’s North Woods Inn. ![]() Peanuts were served, and throwing the shells on the floor was incouraged. ![]() Jenni’s. ![]() Dave’s ![]() …and mine. How could we NOT have felt ill after this? ![]() The roof at Clearman’s is covered with sausage gravy all year round… ![]() It was good to get back to LA, especially since all of of my new tee samples had been delivered. |
