Coachella is bringing Rage back.
Coachella announced their line up for their annual concert event in the middle of the desert. It will be headlined by the likes of the re-united Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Bjork. Rage Against the Machine has decided to put their differences aside in order to make millions of dollars by going out on a limb and speaking out against the war in Iraq. Such bold dissidents are hard to find in this time and age. Where have you guys been, Rage? Where-have-you-guys-been? The line up will also consist of the best streetwear label whore since Pharrell, Lupe Fiasco; Pharaohe Monche, the now irrelevant Ghostface, and the Roots. There will also be a slew of indie rock bands, so you can brag to your friends about how you saw them at Coachella way before they played at Roseland or at The Roxy just to see them fade away in the bargain bin at Virgin. Exact dates and times for the acts will also be confirmed at a later date. Tickets for the festival will go on sale Saturday, January 27 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time via TicketMaster. General admission tickets are priced at $249 for a three-day pass. |
